	Gable House Nursery Staff members


	Here you can meet our Staff. Through their dedication and hard work they help make Gable House Nursery the best place to care for your child.


	Fiona and Chris Courtland have been owners of the Nursery since 2003. Fiona is Nursery Principal with a level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice and is studying towards a Foundation Degree in Early Years Practice. Chris is a Director and Nursery Finance Manager.


	Management




	Sarah Batten is our Manager and works as Nursery Nurse in the Baby Unit. She has been with us for 7 years and has a level 3 NVQ in Early Years Care and a BTEC Diploma in Social Care.




		Kirsty is a nursery assistant with a level 2 qualification and is working towards a level 3. She works in our toddler room. Kirsty is our Deputy Manager.




	Susan Hardy is our Administration Manager and is the person you are most likely to speak to when phoning or calling at the nursery. She is working towards a level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice.




	Val Hoodless is a qualified teacher and in charge of the Pre School and education. She has been with the nursery for 11 years.


	Nursery Nurses




		Toni

	BTEC Diploma in Early Years. Toni has been at Gable House for over 3 years. Toni is back with us again following her maternity leave




			Amanda

		Diploma in Childcare & Education. Amanda has been at Gable House for over 3 years and works with all age groups.




			Kerry

		Kerry has a BA Honours Degree in Educational Studies with Early Childhood Studies. Kerry works with all age groups.




			Suzie

		Suzie joined Gable House in April. She has a level 4 qualification




			Leanne

	Leanne has a BTEC DIploma in Early Years. Leanne has been at Gable House for 3 years and works in our toddler room.


	Nursery Assistants




		Sue is a nursery assistant with 10 years experience in child care and is part of the baby unit team.




		Lisa is a nursery assistant working towards a level 2 qualification in child care. She works with all age groups.




	Joan is a nursery assistant with several years experience and works with all age groups.




	Joanna is a nursery assistant with several years experience and works with all age groups.


	Throughout the year we have several students in child care studies who are placed with us by the college for practical child care experience. The students gain experience by working alongside qualified staff members and they are not counted in our normal staff / child ratios.
